Australian Animals

The Australian fauna has got some unique animals. We all know about the kangaroo or the koala but there are many more. Have you ever heard about the wombat, the seadragon, the emu, the wallaroo or the dingo? Can you identify the eight animals in the drawing above?
Post your comments.

If you need some help, look at the animals below. You can see their pictures and their names.
They are classified into these categories:
- aquatic creatures
- birds
- mammals, marsupials and reptiles

Then, look at the pictures below, click on the names of the animals, go to the link that shows and read the information about them.
After that, choose an animal and make a power point presentation about it.Remember! Use your own words! Don't copy and paste! Make it nice and interesting!

What do you need to say about each animal?
1. Name of the animal.
2. Description of the animal.
(Use the verbs to be and to have got.)
3. Location and habitat.
4. Food
5. Are they on a red list? or,  are they protected?
6. Add any interesting fact you want to.

We'll see your  presentations in class and then we'll post them to our blog.

Do your best and enjoy
